FIG. 03·Pipe Repair · St. Louis
Pipe Repair
Leaks, burst lines and galvanised pipe at the end of its life. We locate it first, so the repair costs you one hole in the wall rather than four.

When to call
What it looks like from your side.
- A water bill that climbed with nothing else changing
- A damp patch, a stain on a ceiling, or a warm spot on the floor
- Pressure that has dropped everywhere in the house at once
- Water that runs rusty at first draw from a home built before 1970
The method
How we do it.
You get the price before we start, not after we finish.
01
We locate before we open anything
Acoustic and thermal, plus the meter. Guessing is what turns a small repair into a drywall job, and you are the one who pays for the drywall.
02
We repair to the material you have
Copper, PEX, CPVC and galvanised all fail differently and all need a different fix. A transition done badly corrodes and leaks again in exactly the same spot.
03
We tell you if repair is the wrong answer
If we are patching a third leak in the same galvanised run, the honest advice is to repipe that section, and we would rather say it than keep coming back.
Questions
About pipe repair.
Do you fix the wall afterwards?
We cut cleanly and patch the opening. Finishing and paint we leave to a decorator, and we will say so on the quote rather than surprise you with it.
My house still has galvanised pipe. Is that urgent?
Not automatically. Galvanised narrows from the inside as it ages, so it usually shows up as poor pressure long before it leaks. We can tell you roughly how much life is left in it.

A written price before anything starts. If it is actively leaking, call instead of filling this in.

Dispatch
Something leaking right now?
A person answers, day or night. If water is moving, call — that is always faster than a form.
