Drain Cleaning
A drain that backs up once will back up again. We clear it, then put a camera down it so you know whether you bought a fix or a postponement.
When to call

- Water standing in the sink, tub or shower long after you have finished
- A gurgle from another fixture when you flush
- More than one drain slow at the same time — usually the main, not the trap
- A smell from the drain that comes back a day after you bleach it

We find out where it actually is
A slow bathroom sink and a slow bathroom sink plus a gurgling toilet are two different jobs. We work out which one you have before anything goes down the pipe.

We clear it mechanically
Cable or hydro-jet depending on what is in there. Grease and soap come out with water. Roots need a cutter. Chemical drain openers do neither and damage older cast iron, so we do not use them.

We show you the inside of the pipe
The camera goes in after the clear, not instead of it. You see the same screen we do. If the pipe is sound, we say so and you are done. If it has a belly or a break, you find out now rather than in February.
Questions
About drain cleaning.
Will you try to sell me a new sewer line?
Only if the camera shows you need one, and you will be looking at the screen when we say it. A clear pipe on camera is a clear pipe, and we would rather you call us again in five years than not at all.
Do you charge more if it takes longer?
No. The price is for clearing the drain, not for the time it takes us to do it. If the cause turns out to be something else entirely, we stop and re-quote before continuing.
